In keeping with its philosophy of investing with a long term horizon, Subhkam would seek to invest in companies satisfying one or more of the following criteria:
Companies with intellectual property, technology, well differentiated market positioning.
Companies in ancillary business to infrastructure sector which are likely to rapidly gain with the growth in infrastructure sector.
Investments in sectors being deregulated and opened up for private investment / private public partnerships.
Invest in smaller infrastructure companies led by strong entrepreneurs, which are building sizable annuity (under BOT model) business.
Focus on emerging growth sectors in India like Healthcare, Finance, Travel, Leisure and Tourism, Alternate Energy among others.
Subhkam would invest in equity or quasi equity instruments issued by such companies, with a holding period of upto 5 years.
